After The Blackout is an American punk rock band from Boston, MA. Their style is primarily an homage to the tried and true melodic pop punk bands of 90's & early 2000's, with their own special twist. After The Blackout is one of those rare bands that is able to win over entire crowds at every show with their infectious energy and super-catchy hooks.
After The Blackout is made up of four highly-skilled members: Mike Derusha (Drums, Vocals), Walter Labree (Guitar, Vocals), Evan Desmarais (Lead Guitar), and Justin Leduc (Bass, Lead Vocals). Having performed in some of the most well-known bands in the Worcester-area punk scene in the late 90's/2000's (Critical Condition, Natural Disaster, The Brainless Wonders, to name a few), After The Blackout's members have a long history of musical chemistry. They have shared stages with national artists (Tommy Lee, Static-X, Wyclef Jean, Redman) and have collaborated with other very successful artists (Joe Queer of The Queers).
One year after their debut performance in August 2015, After The Blackout released their debut self-titled EP in August 2016. In the short time After The Blackout has been performing as a band, they have been turning the heads of crowds of all kinds, which is especially impressive in an era where radio is dominated by unrelated, mainstream genres.
